Henry brings over 15 years of experience in real estate investing and founded RFC Capital in 2020. As a veteran-owned multifamily owner/operator based in San Diego, RFC Capital goes beyond just profits. Henry's mission from the start has been twofold: to create lasting wealth through passive multifamily real estate ownership and to actively address the growing affordable housing crisis that affects so many.
Before launching RFC Capital, Henry served as an officer in the U.S. Navy, where he was the Navigator and Boarding Officer on the USS Underwood (FFG-36). He was later selected as the Officer in Charge of Riverine Squadron Three, Detachment 1. After completing multiple combat tours in Iraq and abroad, Henry transitioned to the investment world, joining Samuel James Limited in Baltimore, MD. There, he helped manage private investments in both public and private sectors. Henry is also the Founder and Managing Partner of his own construction and property management companies.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Henry is a highly successful football coach. Under his leadership, the St. Frances Academy football team was ranked in the top 5 nationally and was featured in HBO's 2019 docuseries The Cost of Winning.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Henry is the proud father of four children—Riley, Finley, Channing, and Smith—and is married to his wonderful bride, Erin.
Dom Ewers leads the team through all stages of operations from construction management, property management, and financial management.
Dom was a collegiate wrestler and U.S. Naval Academy graduate, and recently retired from the Marine Corps after 20 years of active-duty service. He led the logistics for dozens of training and combat deployments around the globe, including 3 tours of duty in Iraq in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He finished his two-decade career as a Commanding Officer for the largest aviation logistics unit in the Corps with over 800 personnel under his command.
Working closely with Henry, Dom has overseen construction projects totaling $25M and is responsible for the day in and day out operations of the $120M + portfolio of RFC acquired and personally managed over $3 million in multifamily and short-term rental properties.
Dom is well-versed in life-cycle logistics, constraint theory, and holds a Master of Science Degree from the University of San Diego in Global Leadership.
